It's All About Walking 10,000 Steps! Get a Pedometer!

We have all heard about the need to walk 10,000 steps a day. If you want to lose weight or stay healthy, you need to move around. The magic number seems to be 10,000 steps.

No, you aren't expected to walk around counting to 10,000...you just need to get a very reliable pedometer. A pedometer will attach to your clothing and easily count your steps for you.

They are actually pretty fun to have. Once you have one on, you will become crazy about checking how many steps you have walked. And, if you are like me, you will be sadly disappointed about your number. And I walk to get my kids from school! Ugh...

But the good thing is that it forces you to try to find reasons to walk. You will park further in the parking lot, walk outside, find reasons to walk. That can only be a good thing.
