This one almost goes without saying.  But, then again, how could I ignore something so obvious?  The Kindle Wireless Reading Device (6" Display, U.S. Wireless) is super hot.. It has been hot for a while now, especially over the holidays. You can read a book in an instant. Or a popular magazine. Or even some newspapers. You have got to check it out. Although I am not normally a big fan of fiction (I feel there are plenty of great stories of any type that really happened), a great thriller can hold my attention. Suspense keeps me turning those pages. I am known to finish a book in one or two sittings.

They are actually pretty fun to have. Once you have one on, you will become crazy about checking how many steps you have walked. And, if you are like me, you will be sadly disappointed about your number. And I walk to get my kids from school! Ugh...

But the good thing is that it forces you to try to find reasons to walk. You will park further in the parking lot, walk outside, find reasons to walk. That can only be a good thing.

This week we are going to let you in on the hottest video games right now for several gaming consoles.  If you are in the market for a gift for a child from age 8 to young adults...a video game for their type of gaming console is always a hit.  Of course, you will have to find out what they have.  My mom once got my kids a game and they didn't have a console of any type!  I don't even know what it was or where it is now!

Mini Cake Pans

Mini Cake Pans. Yes, I said it. Sorry, guys.  Take the week off from the blog, unless you want to surprise everyone by making a yummy mini cake!  I am having fun with these things! Mini Cake Pans are where it is at this week!

Then, after experimenting and letting my girls have a great time with them, I find a bunch of different designs!  This could get addicting.  I have so many ideas and things I want to try.  You can even make jello molds out of these cool, little designs.

Having a BBQ or a small wedding?  Mini cake pans are right at home for either occasion.  Have a family where some like chocolate and some vanilla?  Perfect!  Make white cakes and let them choose the frosting.  Or, frost with white and let everyone add their own toppings (can you say slumber party?).

Zhu Zhu Outfits

Yes, we knew it would happen.  Zhu Zhu outfits have arrived!  I must admit, they are pretty darn cute.  

My girls got Zhu Zhu hamsters for Christmas.  I wasn't sure if they would hold their attention.  The only reason they originally wanted them was because they were so popular.  But, they love them!  They play with them often.  Even more than their Wii, much to my dismay. Oh well, you can't fight it, they love what they love. 

If your kids have Zhu Zhu Hamsters already, get some outfits.  You will be the coolest mom or dad on the block!  Be the first!  Watch out for next weeks post:  Zhu Zhu Babies.  Yes, I said it.  Admit defeat.  Zhu Zhus are now part of your home!
