Eddie is a little boy who used to be all about Thomas the Tank Engine. He never wanted anything else. But now he is into the latest thing, Sonic the Hedgehog. It is All About Minecraft Now - Kids Want Minecraft Toys

OK.  This post is a bit hard to write as I am not Minecraft savvy.  I don't own the game. Though, I am SURE this is in my household's future.  Which also means a new gaming system as right now we are a Wii family.  And, although we can get it for the Wii, according to my kids this is not good enough.  Apparently, we need an Xbox. Ugh.

My son, who is 5, is HOOKED on this game.  He begs his older sister's friends to clear it with her parents to let him come in to play. He has only played it a few times, but is absolutely hooked.  And I mean on everything from the game itself to all of the toys and things that come with all of that.  

Can't afford the gaming system right now? NO problem.  He is happy with the Minecraft Hangers or any other toy he can get his hands on.  He wants it all.  I am not sure what the draw is as most of the games, toys, etc are boxes that are folded together.  But, they are hugely popular and kids want these!

This is in no way a negative review.  But without the system in my home....yet....I  can't say much about it. I will come back and update when we do add this.  But it had to be added here as it is a huge deal in my home. I have kids who are 5 and 12 who like it.  And even a small toy such as a Minecraft Hanger (which looks like a keychain to me) will make kids happy.  My guess is especially boys.

Purple Speedos - You Gotta Have One!

I am so happy to find out that purple speedos are hugely popular. I am not sure whether they are still popular (from way back when during the time I was a competitive swimmer) or if they are newly popular. But I have been told that purple is THE color to have when you hit the deck!

When I was growing up, my entire family was part of the Hueneme Swimming Association. I swam competitively from the age of 5 until I graduated from high school. And I loved it. I loved everything about being a part of my swim team family except the 530am workouts. Brrr!

My best friend and I always HAD to have a purple speedo. She was the first to get a beautiful, bright purple racerback suit. I was immediately jealous. Although my parents had spent a small fortune on red, black and printed speedos, I wanted purple immediately. So, I got one. And from that moment on, we would wear ours until our parents were forced to replace them with another speedo because the chlorine had made them see-through. We would wear 2 suits if we had to, just to have our favorite on top. As you know, this is not good for competitive swimming. Our coach hated it. I am not even sure now why he allowed it. But we did it.

So, here for you I am so happy to list some beautiful and purple suits...and at great prices, too! I know my parents would have loved this first one. It has the black panel. And it will give a nice shape!

Superhero Raincoats for Boys

OK. I have a 5-yr-old boy. So, this is super exciting in my own home. If you have a boy and haven't seen these yet, you are going to LOVE them! I'm probably a little more excited than I should be. And although my son does want one, I probably want to see him with this a little more. He is going to rock this raincoat and definitely stand out! There are Batman raincoats with the cape and Superman raincoats with the cape. I absolutely adore these and your son or nephew or any little boy is sure to love it, too. You won't go wrong here. Check them out. So darn perfect and cute!

Super Super Hot for Christmas 2013 - Loom Bands!!

Oh my, I think I see loom bands in my sleep! My girls, who are preteen, are completely obsessed with these and so are their friends.  From elementary to high school, kids are covered in these bracelets and can not get enough.

If you are looking for a great stocking stuffer or just a great gift for a girl from ages 8 - 16yrs, loom bands are a very safe bet.  They love making these bracelets!  They make bracelets full of their favorite colors, friendship bracelets, showing colors of their favorite team, etc.

Neon Colored Beats are Super Hot!

If you are looking for something that will make your pre-teen, teenager, or young adult VERY, OVER-THE-TOP happy for any gift-giving occasion....neon Beats are a sure hit.  Everyone wants these. Not everyone can afford these.  My pre-teen and teen have been hounding me for these for a while.  But still going strong even this holiday season. 

They are pretty pricey, but if price is not a barrier, this is the way to go to get the one gift they will be bragging about and talking about for a while to come.  This is THE ONE!  Get it in their favorite color, black or one of the super hot neon colors.  Neon blue is my favorite.  But my girls prefer the blue and the green. 

The popularity of Beats is funny to me.  It wasn't too long ago that my kids found headphones like these (but not as cool...I admit) in my things and thought they were ancient and they made jokes about my age.  Whose laughing now?!?!?!

One Direction Products are Super Hot with Teens and Preteens

I have two daughters, one teen and one preteen.  They are crazy about 1D and have the wristbands, posters, notebooks and clothing to prove it.  They still feel like they don't have enough!!
